Chain of Love
EGC Circle K is continuing our year long service project. It is called the Chain of Love program and guess what the focus is? Thats right CHILDREN!
Step back and think for just a moment about your life. You get up each and everyday looking at the sun rise and set. You smile and laugh with your friends and family. You may even play a game of football with the guys over the weekend.
Now imagine that youre a sick child. You have cancer, leukemia, or even a heart disease. Each day is a struggle. You have good days and you have bad days. Life just doesnt seem to bring you very much to smile at.
So what can I do you ask? Well EGC Circle K has adopted the Hugs and Hope Program for Sick Children. EGC Circle K will be featuring a child every two weeks who is sick. We ask each member to make a card, write a cheerful note, or just whatever you can come up with. These items will then be mailed to that child at the end of the featured week. Now Ill give you one guess what will happen.
Thats right! Youll bring a smile to that sick child. Something so simple will have a HUGE impact on these children.
QUOTE OF THE MONTH:
You may only be one person in the world but to one person you may just be the world!
